Group Ride July 11
Beat the heat and join us in the Felicianas at 7:30am Saturday, July 11th for a Beast Trail group ride. Mike Langford, our new Group Ride Coordinator, will be leading the ride with ten of his friends. No one is an expert on The Beast, so come one, come all (OK, well Chris Morgan is pretty good at it).
We got some sprinkles early this morning which made for jungle-like conditions, fogged up goggles and a little slippery across the bridges.
We had a great turnout, 18 riders. Most importantly, all 18 made it back safely! Hope to see you all out there on the Beast again some time, thanks for coming out.
Yesterday's group ride was, in Tanner's words, "the most entertaining ride ever at the Beast." Hope to have many more!
No sign of rain in West Feliciana Parish until Sunday. I've heard that Baton Rouge has gotten rain this week, but not much more than sprinkles up here.
