Tunica Hills W.M.A. Trail Conditions

6 miles of hilly gravel road and several out-and-back hiking/ATV trails branch from the road with multiple parking areas.

Thanks to another of our new members, Kane, for the donation of a lightweight, big-wheeled lawnmower! This will make clearing new sections and maintaining sections of the trail exposed to sunlight much easier.

I just took it out on the private trail (Tunica Trail Riders club members only) and let me tell you, it knows what the business is. I did things I'd never do to my home lawnmower and it took it like a champ.

Rode the orange trail again for the first time in a while. This is a 3-mile out-and-back stretch of very fun doubletrack that ends at a hunting camp.

First two miles are clear, don't let the puddles at the gate fool you, this trail is completely dry. Third mile is thick with high grass, but if you push through it like Indiana Jones, the most fun swooping hills are still to come.

A great intermediate ride with lots of swoop and rutty climbs with step-ups akin to Clear Springs. Lots of sticks down, which add a skill challenge. Big wheels help here.
