All about the W.M.A. Several thousand acres in size and bordering Angola (Louisiana State Penitentiary), this state owned land is overseen by the Department of Wildlife and Fisheries. Although most often used by hunters due to its remote locale, it is bisected by Old Tunica Road which makes for a 5-mile stretch of very hilly gravel road with numerous hiking and ATV trails bearing off of it. This is also part of the route of the 101-mile Rouge Roubaix, Louisiana's toughest cycling race.
